Juan Carlos Copete Maturana: I am a biologist with experience in the botany, ecology, ethnobotany, conservation, and reproductive biology of palms (Arecaceae) and with a strong interest in the relationship between Indigenous and local people and biodiversity.

Sarah Hartmann: Born and raised in Wyoming, Sarah is a director and writer whose love of evocative and playful storytelling brought her to New York where she studied at Barnard College and Columbia University.

Eda Elif Tibet: Independent documentary filmmaker and a visual anthropologist. She mostly films and produces her own films on local livelihood rights and social justice.
