HARMONY IMPACT FILM WINS BEST DOC AWARD

MADAGASCAR FILM FESTIVAL - ISSM AWARD , 2ème édition

The Madagascar Film Festival – ISSM Award is an annual event, initiated by ISSM under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication and Culture, to honor Malagasy cinema.

Although this year marks only the festival’s second edition, the enthusiasm of all the major players in Madagascar’s audiovisual industry was evident.

Aina Rasamoelina’s film Harmony won unanimous acclaim from the jury and subsequently received first prize for best short documentary film, in recognition of the quality of its storytelling and the technical use of sound and imagery to convey emotion, despite the simplicity of the subject matter. 

Beyond the competition, for Aina RASAMOELINA, being able to screen Harmony at a local festival is a crucial step in the film’s reach. It allows her to share her vision with decision-makers, raise awareness among young people, and inspire nature lovers.
