Two eleven-year-old best friends, tell us in their video diaries about their experience with the changes and concerns of puberty. We get a glimpse into a relationship full of laughter and innocence and see them standing up for equality. A testimony about friendship and exploring the adventure of growing up.

Alltag aus der Dose

"Alltag aus der Dose" shows the ordinary, yet exciting and varied everyday life of the kiosk "Tabakdose" from Länggasse in Bern. Customers come and go, social relationships are cultivated and everyday items are exchanged in a familiar atmosphere. The many objects and things offered in the shop create a colourful stage for everyday life.

In Zurich, after a hundred years, the waste incineration plant on Josefstrasse is being demolished. A huge construction site is now in the middle of the city. While the work on the construction site is going on, the place is revealed more and more through telephone conversations.

The filmmaker takes us on an explorative journey to find out more about her mother’s family. Part of them had to flee Chile in 1973 during the Military Coup, since they had a close connection to the former president Salvador Allende. Through fragmented memories, we accompany her cousin Lua, who faces the uncertainty of who she is and asks questions about the family’s history.

La Dieta

This anthropological short film is based on research conducted in the Peruvian Amazon with healers and their patients who come from Europe. The filmmaker accompanies the physical, emotional and spiritual treatment, in order to purify the body. This portrait offers a sensory journey into this setting of healing and embeds the practice of la dieta cosmologically.
