A young member of the Yine people in the Peruvian Amazon, while contemplating a towering kapok tree, begins to reflect on his people’s relationship with these giants. Through observation and poetic narration, the film dwells on memory, care, and continuity, tracing the bonds that unite the forest, its people, and time itself.

HARMONY
Synopsis
HARMONY focuses on the communities living around Masoala National Park in Maroantsetra, in northern Madagascar. These places, of extraordinary natural beauty and possessing significant environmental and economic potential, remain isolated from the rest of the world. Because of this isolation, the natural environment is under threat and risks losing its authenticity. Vahy Nekena, a dynamic young woman, is determined to contribute her expertise to the preservation of nature. She demonstrates how access to digital technology is transforming lives by connecting farmers, women, young people and students to knowledge, innovation and opportunities. The meeting between Vahy Nekena and Séniot, a curious and ambitious young farmer, offers great hope: hope for change based on respect and integrity on the one hand, and on the other, the promotion of the endemic nature of the Maroantsetra region. It is a living testament to the harmony between man and nature.

Synopsis
This film follows community transformation shaped by patience and discipline. The film observes how community systems protect land, income, and peace without external enforcement. The setting carries visible signs of climate strain and the effect it has had on the community. Against this reality, IWACO-supported practices reshape daily life. Semi circular burns regenerate grass, which is sold and also stored for dry seasons. Women process honey and beads for sale (women empowered economically). Youth protect land through planning and discipline. Each action links survival to cooperation. The film treats land as a shared responsibility rather than a resource to extract. This framing anchors peacebuilding and income generation inside the same system.
Synopsis
Laikipia North faces recurring droughts and unpredictable rainfall. Climate stress reduces harvests and household food supply. Many families rely on school meals as the only reliable source of food for children. For some learners, one school meal defines the entire day. Poor nutrition affects concentration, health, and school attendance. Financial strain limits food choices at home. Children grow up without access to diverse and nutrient-rich diets. ACT NOW responds through school-based food and nutrition action. The initiative supplies seeds, establishes school gardens, and trains learners on food production and nutrition. Knowledge gained at school travels back to homesteads through children.

Brief Bio:
Shubham Sharma, a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist and visual anthropology student at the University of Munster, explores the intricate relationship between migration and masculinity in his native Punjab region of India. Through a unique blend of artistic mediums, his work examines the intricate interplay between individual identity, movement, and cultural transformation. Each piece serves as a testament to the synergy between art and anthropology, showcasing the potential of storytelling as a means of understanding the multifaceted world we inhabit.
Project Abstract:
Migration is more than a series of events; it is a profound sensorial experience that demands a departure from conventional storytelling. This project embraces the belief that to truly convey the collective response of a generation facing the complexities of migration, the narrative must transcend the limitations of language and engage the audience on a sensory level.
An interactive website where one can follow a rumor about an arranged marriage from different perspectives. Does truth get lost in the sea of rumors or does it reveal more than just a truth? This interactive and hybrid project aims to reflect on the truth by interacting with people belonging to a small neighbourhood in Punjab.
