Sara Margrethe Oskal was born in Kautokeino, Norway. An actor, writer, and director, she has a PhD in Performing Arts from Oslo National Academy. Her films include the shorts Beaivvi nieida (18) and Rieban (23). The Tundra Within Me (23) is her first feature.
